Chencho is the keyboardist of El Tálamo, a fictional story inspired by a very real band. Set in 2025, the project explores creativity, friendship, and second chances through musicians in their 40s and 50s who refuse to let time decide for them.
A 55-year-old software developer with a passion for music production, animation, and drawing, Chencho is kind, social, and fuelled by a love of beer and urgency. He’s the one pushing the band to record their ten core songs before it’s too late.
The story takes place in Jerez de la Frontera, southern Spain. A rock-and-roll tale against the odds—where a cassette tape, a summer gig, and an unexpected encounter with Keanu Reeves change everything.
